EFP / Documentary

Electronic Field Production (EFP) or 'documentary' refers to the style of production. These projects are often shot using a single camera with on-location recordings. Working with a CITL Producer, the project is scoped and storyboarded during pre-production. Many times the script is written before any shooting begins. Shooting often involves interviews (one or multiple) along with additional footage (known as cover or B-roll). The story is told through a scripted narrative or first person interviews. The cover footage is edited into the video to enhance the overall story. The productions often include custom graphics, titles, special effects and music. Documentary projects require more effort and planning but the end result is worth it!
