How do I use it?
- Register and pick one of the four account types: professionals, teachers, students, and family & friends. They use the term "Kahoot" for any documents you can make on the platform.
- On the top-right of the main page, you can find the link to start a new Kahoot and join the available games.
- They also provide some templates for all the four types of potential users.
- The features help to make presentations (using images, text, videos, voices,... ), interactive content (online polls, exams), and evaluation (real-time evaluation, time-limited tasks).
- You can integrate Kahoot! add-ins into your PowerPoint presentations, allowing you to initiate live Kahoot sessions (e.g., live surveys/polls in your class) directly from your presentation without switching tools. To add Kahoot add-ins, go to File > Get add-ins. Different versions of the app may behave differently, and this feature is not included in the freemium version.
- Also, you can import your slides created by PowerPoint in a Kahoot presentation. However, the slides will be in the PNG format and will not include the links, animation or slide transitions.
