Screenpal (formerly Screen Cast-O-Matic)

This tool captures a digital recording of your computer screen, along with your audio narration and (optionally) a webcam.
What is its purpose?
You or your students can create any screen-based resource that can be saved in a MP4 video format and shared.
How do I use it?
Memorial instructors can request a license from CITL to unlock some of the premium features such as longer videos, computer audio, and the video editor. More information can be found within CITL's getting started information.
Students, or individuals that wish to use Screencast-O-Matic without using Memorial's license, can go to https://screenpal.com/ and start a recording for free.
Why would I use it?
- For instructors to create screen-based video resources that can be used for classroom instruction or viewed before or after class.
- For students to demonstrate learning.
