What is it?

MacOS Screen Recording allows for basic screen recording which can be used for the purpose of lecture recording.  

How do I use it?

You can access MacOS Screen Recording on any Mac computer running Mojave or higher (10.14) by pressing Shift-Command-5 on your keyboard.  The onscreen controls will allow you to record your entire screen, part of your screen, and configure additional devices.  To add voice to your recordings, access the options menu and configure your microphone.
