What is it?

The Quiz Builder in Brightspace allows you to build questions, question banks, and allows you to determine the effectiveness of your assessments.

What is its purpose?

The Quiz Builder allows you to create questions in the question library that can then be used in quizzes or surveys within Brightspace.  Questions in the question library can be copied between course sites and reused.

How do I use it?

The Quiz Builder is automatically enabled in each Brightspace course site.  Visit your course site, and you will find Quizzes under the Assessments menu.

Why would I use it?

If you want to assess your students knowledge using a collection of question types in a secure environment, you would use the Quiz Builder to create the question and quizzes to do this.  It can also provide an analysis of the effectiveness of your questions to your overall learning goals.
