A Standard for Quality
CITL is registered to the International Organization for Standardization, ISO 9001:2015 – the newest edition of ISO’s flagship quality management systems standard. This means we have a system to ensure we meet the needs of clients and other stakeholders, while meeting statutory and regulatory requirements related to our programs and services.
In 2008, CITL was the first distance education provider in Canada to be registered to ISO.
Since then, we have adhered to quality standards comparable to professionally accredited schools and faculties, with a high level of accountability and performance measures that are embedded in the programs and services we offer. In 2009, Canadian Association of University Business Officers recognized this achievement with a national award for quality and productivity.
In addition to consistently meeting clients’ needs, CITL’s registration to ISO 9001:2015 positions us to lead and drive an entrepreneurial vision to advance the delivery and support for teaching and learning with our partners, both within and outside of Memorial University.
